Morning and evening duas are the best way to protect ourselves from any evil, additionally, it is a way of worshipping Allah as we are instructed to remember Allah at all times.
Allah said in the holy Quran:
يٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيْرًا. وَسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّأَصِيْلًا
“Believers, remember Allah often and glorify Him morning and evening.”
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him narrated:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Allah the Almighty said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.” [It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal). Its chain of authority is sound.]
Duas is what connects us and brings us closer to Allah, Whenever you feel down, depressed, sad, angry, helpless, or in need of help just turn to Allah and communicate with him through supplication. Talk to Allah and tell him everything that bothers you, ask for his forgiveness, and repent from your mistakes. Remember, Allah is always there for you
